This kitchen remodel was to transform an inefficient and poorly lit kitchen into an open and functional gathering and cooking space. The original kitchen had been modified several times by previous owners leaving dangerous electrical hazards, minimal cabinet space, poor light quality in work space, and tight work space. The goal of the remodel was to open the work space, improve the work triangle, provide several schemes, and dramatically increase cabinet storage space. The entire kitchen was taken to the drywall and in some cases the studs to be rebuilt. Completion time for this project was approximately three months from initial design to operation.
